When searching for a luxury vanity unit, there are a few materials that you should consider. For a clean and timeless design with a durable surface, vanity units made from stone resin are the best choice. However, solid wood options - such as those with a smoked oak finish - are growing in popularity due to their designs being suited for both modern and traditional bathrooms.
Vanity units are well-suited to smaller spaces, too. If floor space is an issue, wall-hung vanities are the ideal solution as they're available in both compact and larger sizes and don't take up any floor space. Smaller freestanding vanities are also an option, as you can choose from a collection with a width/ footprint of 420mm; making them suitable for cloakrooms and downstairs toilets. We've added all Aquaroc vanity units that are sutiable for smaller spaces in our Clockroom Vanity Unit collection.
If you're looking for an alternative to a vanity unit, you can use a countertop, accompanied by a stone basin. While you won't have the storage space that you'd get with a vanity, it can create a clean and luxurious feel in your bathroom.
A floating vanity is wall-mounted and therefore appears to 'float' above the floor below. They can help create a luxurious look and are available in a range of styles - from minimal, clean stone units to fluted and oak-smoked designs - making them suitable for all bathroom renovation projects.
